As parents of a child with autism we would like to create awareness about this condition in our community.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a complex neurological and developmental disorder. It impacts a person’s verbal and non-verbal communication skills and social interactions and may exhibit repetitive behaviors or have restricted interests.

Signs of autism spectrum disorder begin to appear during early childhood and typically last throughout a person’s life.

Community inclusion is a priority for families. It improves current functional living and increases the chances of future independence. Autism is a difficult disorder, but together we can find ways to understand it better and help people suffering from it to live productive, healthy lives.
